The Mountain Empire Community College Foundation and the Scott County Endowed Scholarship Committee are leading an effort to assist students in Scott County by providing scholarships to attend Mountain Empire Community College.
The Scott County Endowed Scholarship Committee was formed by residents interested in making a difference in their community by raising funds to endow a scholarship that will help students from now into the future.
The MECC Foundation and the Scott County Endowed Scholarship committee will host a special fundraising event on Saturday, August 28 featuring Grammy-nominated, 2020 International Bluegrass Music Association Performer of the Year, Sister Sadie, at Crooked River Farms in Hiltons. All proceeds will benefit the Scott County Endowed Scholarship fund. We are currently seeking sponsorships to help assist with the cost of entertainment. Sponsorships can include the following options:
